Many nonprofits don’t have a grant writer on staff or the capacity to hire a contract grant writer to develop and submit health-related grants. This award provides help for nonprofits with funding to contract a grant writer to create and submit health-related grants. Grant recipient organizations use the funding to apply to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, Michigan Health Endowment Fund, local community foundations, Health Resources and Services Administration, and other organizations.

This award offers up to $3,500.
