I am an accomplished and results-driven resource development professional with extensive experience in leading all aspects of grant development and management processes, from ideation to implementation. I have developed federal, state, and foundation grants totaling over $100 million. 

I have over 18 Years of experience in resource development

& grant writing and have excelled in all my professional pursuits including the following:

  • Detroit Drives Degrees “Advancing Ypsi” - $2.5 million

    • Detroit Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Ralph Wilson Foundation

    • 300 people will complete with a credential leading them to high wage, high demand job of $40K+. 

  • Apprenticeships Building America - $280,000

    • Department of Labor in partnership with Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN)

    • Supports expansion of pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs while building capacity for future growth; establishes a Michigan, Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) Chapter.

  • Michigan Afterschool Partnership - $68,000

    • State of Michigan, Department of Education

    • Provides after-school programming at Parkridge Community Center, in Ypsilanti, MI, including fields trips.

  • Title III, "Alpha Scholars" - $1.46 million - U.S. Department of Education

    • The Program for Academic Success for Students (PASS) will strengthen and enhance student success through instruction, student services and support. The target population served by the project is first-time, full-time degree- certificate-seeking students enrolled at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. 

  • Washtenaw County Office of Community & Economic Development for Parkridge Community Center - $59,000

  • Others: Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation ($46,000), Marathon Gas ($16,000), Ann Arbor Thrift Shop ($36,000), and others.
